Do I have to be a Member to attend Worship?
No, Worship is open to everyone regardless of Membership.

What does it mean to be a “Member”?
Membership in this or any Presbyterian Church is first and foremost about being a part of a faith community that you can help serve and shape. There are no tests to take; the Constitution of the Presbyterian Church USA states simply that “An active member of a particular church is a person who has made a profession of faith in Christ, has been baptized, has been received into membership of the church, has voluntarily submitted to the government of this church, and participates in the church’s work and worship.”

Do I or my children have to be baptized in order to be a Member of this church?

Yes, all members should be baptized before enrolled as Members of this congregation. If you or your children have been previously baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, we do not require a second or unique baptism. As Presbyterians, we believe that one baptism is sufficient and all you will ever need, regardless if you remember it or not.

I am currently a member of another church, can I be a member of your church too?

In special circumstances, our congregation will enroll individuals as Affiliate Members. Affiliate Membership is usually reserved for those who find themselves in a different community than their church of membership and seek to be an active in a local congregation. Examples of Affiliate Members might include college students, those working far from home, and those moving back home to provide care for loved ones. If you would like to explore Affiliate Membership, please contact the Pastor or the Clerk of Session.

I am currently a member of another church, and I would like to become a member of this church. What do I need to do?
In this particular case, our church office will write to your former church and ask for your Certificate of Membership so we may transfer your membership to this congregation. All that is needed is the name and address of your former congregation. We will take care of the rest!

How do I become a Member of this congregation?
The process of becoming a member of this congregation begins with speaking to the Pastor or the Clerk of Session who will guide you through the membership process which culminates on a Sunday morning where you are introduced to the congregation in a much-loved moment of celebration. We love welcoming new members to our family!
